So you say your aren't a sales person. Me neither. But we both have talents, with the help of others (perhaps your chatty sister, or confident spouse) we CAN make the funds necessary to complete our dreams. With a little bit of creativity you too can finance your family dreams with adoption fundraising. Ready? Here's some ideas to motivate you! Sell Products: There are three different categories. The first are premade products/gift items that you buy in bulk and then resale for a profit, online or locally. The second are products you can presell. Think of the candy, popcorn and cookie dough that your neighborhood children sell each year. Then, of course the last category are products you personally make and sell (either on the internet or in person.)
Let's review these further:
Direct Selling (prepurchased and resold)
Order Taking (presold and then purchased)
Handcrafted Products (premade & sold)
Event Based Fundraisers Garage sales, benefit dinner or bbq, even a photo shoot. These are a LOT of work but have been know to make a big impact to funding of your adoption.
Seasonal Service Based Fundraisers.
You don't have to sell to make money. How about SERVING! Spring Clean up. Christmas Decorating. Snow shoveling, lawn mowing, window washing, and other seasonal jobs can bring in a bit of money.

"FOUND MONEY".Look at your budget and see what you can do without. We don't use cable, and our phone service is very basic. See where you can save, and put the difference into your adoption fund. Ask yourself each time you spend a small amount of money on fast food or other indulgence, "Is this necessary? Will it make a difference to my adoption fund?" Amazing how it can add up. Don't forget the Adoption Tax Credit and support from your employer.
