Adopting Foster Children

It is the Quick & Free Adoption.

Consider adopting foster children here in the US. There are 126,000 children waiting for loving permanent families. Many use the term Fost-Adopt when referring to adopting children who have been removed from parents care due to neglect or abuse.

Do you realize that one in four foster children enters the system before their first birthday. Newborns make up the largest percentage of these infants. Most of the children are either Caucasian or African American. The average child in foster care goes through three different placements (homes/families) and stays in the "system" for 33 months. There are organizations that are working towards keeping children in just ONE foster home until reunification can be completed or the child can be adopted. My prayer is that more agencies follow this lead!

Foster children simply need loving stable homes. The advantage to foster-adopt is that the fees are minimal to non-existent, wait times can be shorter than in private or international adoption and there are younger children available for adoption. In most cases, subsidies are available for the child's living expenses and healthcare - even after the adoption is complete.Internet Search
